Strengthening our Organisations

Organisational development and growth is an important topic for most of our Member Organisations as many organisations are currently building new strategies and looking towards the future.

To Serve Our Needs

We already have a great support system in place through the “GSAT” and “Good Governance” WOSM services and through the Growth Project. Moreover, having this topic as our top priority means prioritising analysis and strategic thinking, adapting our structures to serve our needs, and using our resources with efficacy.

And Lead With Courage

There are a few aspects that I believe are important for many organisations and that should be prioritised and those are:

Strategic thinking and strategy-building through participative and democratic processes for the organisations
Risk, Integrity and Change management skills for scouts at national level of their NSAs/NSOs
Analysing our structures, projects, policies and governance through the lens of Sustainability and integrating it in our daily practices.
Leading with courage and integrity, while also searching for the best opportunities for external support, partnerships and funding so as to have a positive impact on our communities.
